1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Schema.Icu ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Schema.Icu provides an AI agent orchestration platform with specialized agents, JSON Schema validation, and cryptographic response signing. The Service is provided by SmartLedger Technologies.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password
• You must verify your email address via OTP
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
• One account per user; no sharing of accounts or API keys

4. Service Tiers and Rate Limits

• Free Demo: 21 requests per day (demo API key)
• Registered: 200 requests per day
• Enterprise: Unlimited requests (for @smartledger.solutions and [email protected])

Rate limits reset daily at midnight UTC.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Share, sell, or redistribute your API key
• Send spam, phishing, or abusive content
• Reverse engineer or copy the Service
• Generate content that violates OpenAI's usage policies
• Overload or disrupt the Service infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property

• The Service and its code are owned by SmartLedger Technologies
• You retain ownership of your input queries
• AI-generated outputs are subject to OpenAI's terms
• The Schema.Icu name and branding are our trademarks

7. Data and Privacy

• Your queries are sent to OpenAI's API for processing
• We store API logs for 30 days for debugging
• See our Privacy Policy for details
• You are responsible for not submitting sensitive personal information

8. Payment Terms

• Free tier available with rate limits
• Paid plans (when available) are billed monthly via Stripe
• No refunds for partial months
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

SmartLedger Technologies shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Errors in AI-generated outputs
• Third-party service failures (OpenAI, MongoDB, etc.)

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SmartLedger Technologies from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Abuse the Service or exceed rate limits
• Fail to pay (for paid tiers)
• Engage in fraudulent activity

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
